Diplomová práca je hudobno-sociologickou sondou do súčasného hudobného života mesta Prešov z kvalitatívneho i kvantitatívneho hľadiska. Mapuje hudobné podujatia, analyzuje ich silné a slabé stránky, na hodnotenie ktorých využíva swot analýzu. Podrobne skúma hudobné festivaly, školstvo, venuje sa hudobným telesám, folklórnym súborom, organizátorom hudobných podujatí.
